Avocados are a miracle food. Filled with vitamins A, E, D, potassium, and a handful of antioxidant and strengthening properties, it is one of the number one recommended food for people to eat to stay healthy. But there is a reason it has always been used for face masks and body scrubs. That is the fact that it is as good on the skin as it is under it.

Mixed with certain other natural ingredients, it makes a fantastic mask to nourish the skin on the entire body, but especially the face. One of the most common secondary ingredients for facial masks is honey. Added to the penetrating properties of avocado, it makes a beautifully nourishing cleaner for various toxins that enter the pores through dirt, dust, smog, and various chemicals we come into contact with every day.

Another ingredient is heavy cream, which gives it s heavier consistency that created a lovely moisturizing effect. You can add honey, avocado, heavy cream and certain other vegetables well known for being high in vitamins (carrots, cucumber, pumpkin, ect.) for the ultimate thick mask that will not only clear the skin, but strengthen it, eliminate fine lines and wrinkles, and give you a healthy glow.
